Hi Meg,
I stayed at the Hardrock last September with my 15 year old daughter and best friend. We really loved it there. I definately do remember that there are ramps either side of the stairs that lead down to the pool area and there are ramps at the entry foyer area. There are lifts to every floor as well and all the corridors are nice and wide. The pool area is unbelievable. I agree with Beceth that the pool area is so big that you will be able to find your own space without anyone swimming on top of you.
The kids club looked like lots of fun. The kids came out and did some dances in the afternoon on the beach area that they learned that day. It was really cute. I didn't think that the music was over the top around the pool area and I am one of those people who will walk out of a clothes shop if the music is too loud and I cannot hear myself think!
There is music each night at Centre Stage which is near the front foyer area of the resort so you will hear that if you come back late after dinner. We could not hear it from our room at all. I think its a great place to stay and would stay again. There was a great mix of people there, lots of families, couples and older couples too. We did not see any bogans or drunk hooligans while we were there.
Its very clean and we found the staff beautiful. It can be very expensive to eat from the restuarant around the pool. We found that the cafe near the breakfast area to be really good value though for lunch, slushies and coffee, icecreams etc and you can bring it down to the pool area. A much much cheaper option and the food is beautiful. If your a honeycomb lover try the chocolate coated honeycomb from the cafe, its the best I've ever had.
Have a great holiday. Kaz
