I bought a Bali SIM from a little phone shop on the main road there. It's about 800m back towards Nusa Dua on the right. I did have the translational help of a friendly driver at the time...which is probably a good bit of advice in itself. If you have a helpful driver, ask him to take you to a shop and help you buy one.
When will you be at PBR? We'll be there from 11 June, for a week. Love the place.
