The surfing schools very expensive.
Just talk to the guys that rent the surfboards on Kuta or Legian beach. They are all good surfers & will give lessons & for a much better price than the surfing schools. Don't take the first price.....you can barter for price including renting the surfboard. As serenity said, this way is also goos because it's one on one.
