Forget which airline I was flying out of Bali on a few trips ago. About 2 metres from the entrance to the departure lounge was a kiosk - I bought a small bottle of water for an exorbitant price to drink while waiting.
Less than 2 minutes later it was confiscated as I went into the departure lounge. My bottle of expensive water joined many others in several crates. No doubt they went straight back to the kiosk & the guys on the departure security point & the kiosk girl split the spoils.
I had asked at the kiosk if I could take the water through - of course she said Yes. No biggie - just irksome. But they won't get me again!!
