Well we have had a lovely stay at RBBC Candidasa. The staff are wonderful as usual. We love the Imperial Apartment, fantastic view from our balcony. Haven't used the lounge on the balcony much, not true lounge and awkward to get up from. Be okay if you were younger and not having arthritic joints, lol. We have been very lazy not doing any trips,which upsets the drivers as there aren't many people here. It is great for people staying here as there is no problems getting sun lounge around the pool and not many in the pool at the same time. Easy to talk to people. Free WiFi works in our apartment but not all apartments, some people have to use it in the restaurant.
We've eaten at Nyoman.just outside the resort, also used the free shuttle to go into CD for breakfast we ate at the Candidasa Cafe lovely American breakfast for 45000++, also had dinner there one night. Cafe Wayan another night and we enjoyed it. Last night we went to LE Rouge more upmarket, also more people there. It has recently changed from Toke, we ate there 2 years ago. Great ambience, enjoyed food, except I was disappointed with the profiteroles, they were a bit soggy and the cream was runny. Eddie enjoyed his dessert. I had a cocktail can't remember the name but I was virtually away with the fairies. I really enjoyed it,but needed something else to drink and decided another one and I probably wouldn't manage the stairs to our apartment. I am a 1 pot screamer. Looked at the mocktails and couldn't find anything I fancied so ended up with a strawberry juice which was fantastic. It helped clear my head and I managed the stairs ok.
Don't think we will go into CD this morning and have an even lazier day, won't take much to pack the case. It is very quiet in CD feel sorry for the locals.
Hopefully my Indostat sim card will work properly today, had allsorts of troubler with it. Think it is perhaps the CD are which is the prioblem. Thank goodness for the laptop have spoke to the familyback in Melbourne via skype, also brother in law in UK.
Tomorrow off to Jimbaran to stay at Karma Resort. Looking forward to visiting the Chocolate Pattiserie Cafe which is nearby. I'm a chocoholic so it should be great.
