We stayed at karma Kandara last year, and spent a week in the Ungasan area....There are a few cafes/restaurants by the supermarket in Ungasan, but not much to write home about...Cafe Moka does have a decent range of goodies tho....theres a decent Thai on the main road, called Kat's Kitchen from memory, but not much else...If you eat later in th e evening however, its only a 25 mins taxi ride to the Kuta area....renting a scooter is also good for staying in Ungasan..we also biked to Nusa Dua on occasion and ate there!
