advice for ungasan area

we are staying in the Ungasan area in a couple of weeks and despite hours of trolling the forum, I am unable to find much info on restaurants and spas in the area. Not interested in the big hotels in the area, more looking for local type food. Any info on this beautiful area would be much appreciated.
