I spoke to a guy driving a cab that wasn't a bluebird one when we were there a couple of weeks ago. He said he used to drive bluebirds but they used to only get 30% of the fare. The company he now worked for went 50/50. I'm guessing that's the percentage of whatever is on the meter. So what ever they are tipped is a bonus for them.
