The taxi drivers can do it rough because they have to pay for bensin (petrol) & receive half the fare. The beach workers, massage etc probably earn around 50000 to 75000rp per day & are reasonably well off in Balinese standards. Some of the young "party" girls earn around 400000 to 1millon per night & sleep all day. They have to pay some to the madams. It is an interseting study. Their cost for makan (meals) is around 10000 to 15000rp per meal. Their accomodation cost is around 600000rp per month. I hope this answers your question.
