Thanks people for your advice.
I do have a west aussie open bike licence.
I got myself an interational licence about 16 years ago, but was warned by the RAC that a lot of Bali police dont recocognise it so never bothered to use it whilst here.
And had heard more recently, that the police still want to "fine" you, even with an international licence whilst doing the right thing.
