actually today I'm doing our company tax, now that is something to worry about, the Indonesian tax system is based on the American gap system and it really is a long winded way of doing things.
We have a lot to worry about here, we have this bloody tax system, we have Dengue Fever, Earthquakes, Typhoid, Rabies, volcano eruptions, there is a very big snake in our garden that is tormenting our pets and we just cannot catch the bugger, he gets amongst the palm trees, he's a hisser as well. The only thing I am worried about is that it is a beautiful day and I'm inside and procrastinating doing the tax by reading the BTF and if I delay it too much I will not make it to the beach.
Go with your gut, but who is to say that something will not happen where you live, I mean, don't you have more Westerners there then here?
If you do decide to come, make sure you are vaccinated for everything and you put on mozzie repellent day and night, you know what to do in case of an earthquake, you do not drink the water and do not pat stray dogs or let puppies lick you. These very important things get missed when people worry about the other stuff.
