Staying in Ubud and wanting to visit Tegallalang at some stage. As I read there are no taxis in Ubud, would we be better to just hire a driver from Ubud for half a day or is it close enough to get dropped there, shop, stay for lunch etc, let him go back to Ubud and call him to come and pick us up when we are finished.
Only asking as we have a friend/driver who takes us to Geneva Homewares from Tuban and he returns to do other small trips and we call him a few hours later after we have walked around Seminyak and had some lunch and he picks us up, which I like as I dont like keeping him waiting and I can have a good look around at my own pace.
