Suggest using Gili cat from Padang bai @ 1.1 million each(return inc pickup from hotel)
Seas can get rough so if you depart from Benoa, you may have 2+ hours of rough seas vs 1+ from Padang bai
A good place to book is on Poppies #1 opposite side of the street to TJ's about 100m towards the ocean.....this place specializes in travel to Gilis.
Do a day trip with snorkeling around the islands

Try Scallywags or Beach House...both very good. We usually stay at Kelapa kecil @ 500k per night on the beach(200m on the right of the jetty), nice rooms a/c and plunge pool (not the big resort inland)
Take snorkeling gear or hire it...take bread with you on any snorkeling trips
