We prebooked meals with Jetstar and it cost a total of $70 for 2 people both ways. To out dismay it would have cost us $18 for both going and the same returning. I complained and have read that someone got a refund, but I did not pursue the issue. My advice is to just order on the plane. I do not know how you pay, but Virgin require a credit card.
