Over the years I have unsuccessfully planned surprises for my husband only to be found out, drat it. The most frustrating thing is that he just stumbles upon them without even trying! It doesn't mean I've given up though and have one or two things up my sleeve for our special trip in May.
I'm with you on the Crispy Duck, poor shriveled up morsel it is. Apparently you eat the bones and all! Give me tender and juicy instead any day.
