Maybe I'm oversensitive because my eldest nearly lost his leg after coming off a couple of years ago here in Oz. I'm also positive they would have taken the leg off if he hadn't had private insurance!
Please don't mess around with this. We all know in a split second an accident can be life changing.
It makes my blood run cold when I see the young Aussies speeding and weaving around without helmets,shirts,long trousers...shoes! Have they no clue how much bark they'll lose if they hit the dirt?
Guess it's obvious what I think you should tell your nearly 16 year olds!!! Don't! but if they will anyway lawfully and safely would be the way to go of course.
