Hi - I know what you mean about withdrawing the cash before you leave for Bali - especially when there are lots of people in the queue behind you at the bank watching the teller count out all your $$$
Last time what I did was ring the bank to warn them we were planning to make a large withdrawal (important at a small town branch) and they had it all pre-counted before I got there and saw me in one of the smaller rooms not at the main counter.
For an honest money changer in Bali this is who were have used and found to be the most reputable. Good rates - in fact we noted that many of the other money changers used them!
