on the way back to our hotel one night.
It was the first night of our trip and the 4 of us had just had a lovely dinner at Mozzarella's.
When we got to the junction of Padma and Legian the heavens opened up and it didn't just rain it cascaded! We had never seen anything like this even during our years in Qld. It was like someone had just dumped a bucket of water on us and it was hilarious!
A cab rolled up and in we piled. I hopped in the front seat and couldn't apologise enough for getting his seats wet and going on about it a bit I guess, concerned for his next fares etc. In the back seat my husband cleared his throat and said 'I wouldn't worry about it too much Honey'. When I looked back there was water pouring down all the inside of the windows and walls. The 3 in the back were all splashing around in puddles ankle deep. My husband says 'It'll make life easier for the pedicurist tomorrow'. It still makes me smile whenever I think of the "puddle cab".
