You are obviously concerned, and how dreadful for your poor mum. It must be painful and a shock. At 79 years she is not a young woman,and is doing well to be out and about and in Bali. I hope there is someone to take care of her and that she starts to feel better soon and can enjoy the rest of her trip. The elderly often need to be more careful with these things due to poor circulation , lower immunity, longer healing time. Dont let the less sensitive comments get to you. If they were injured and whacked up in a wheel chair on their holiday they would most likely be miserable too!!!
