.. 2 friends & I were planning on getting heaps of things, including leather coats, made by her in June. We'll look elsewhere now.

Oh, I find it hard to find a good tailor in Bali. Tried House of Komang in Jl Padma (which does great office work-type clothes for guys - son was very happy) & Janoko in Poppies 2 - ditto.

I find it very difficult to get clothes for me copied even taking the originals - very mixed results from both. Eg - wanted a copy of a dress made twice in different fabric I supplied at Komang - one fits fine, the other is a huge sack. At Janoko, I had a top copied in 3 different colours - 2 were fine, one minute.

I definitely wouldn't order all 10 tops etc to be made at once - get one of each made quickly & see how you like them.

Also, I found Komang to be a bit expensive with a limited range of linens, which I prefer. Janoko a bit cheaper with a larger range, but don't always have them in stock - be sure to give a phone # for contact.

Good luck & please let me know how you fare.
