..and it's not that 'quiet'- there's plenty of bars, bands to see, bintangs to drink and people to meet there- it's just not as LOUD as Kuta- also there's a lack of somewhat obnoxious teenagers. The beachfront is actually very attractive (unlike Kuta), lovely restaurants etc and if you want a 'huge' night out clubbing in Kuta (or better yet, Seminyak), you can just catch a taxi. Just my opinion but I like to visit Kuta, not to stay there.
