When travelling Asia we are very respectful of that countrys culture & tradition...observing the usual dont step on offering, dont pat children on the head, point with the thumb & not the finger etc you get the picture...
So hubby & i do get annoyed if the "locals" dont pay us the respect we do to them ie: grabbing body parts! Its not part of our culture & we really dont like it. Im over some people saying "oh but they dont know any better" or "theyre just trying to earn a living"! Of course they know better! They must get tourists objecting to it daily.
We have only experienced this agressive type of sales pitch in Bali, maybe weve been lucky, but never in Malaysia or Thailand.
We are giving Bali 1 more try, but if this holiday proves as annoying while trying to sitesee or shop, as the last, then not sure its the place for us :/
