We stayed at Satriya Cottages & Matahari Bungalows last Sept/Oct and liked both for different reasons. Satriya is smaller but the rooms are more modern and brighter. loved the bar/restaurant at the front for a good relaxing evening, but didn't like the pool area with many people putting their gear on tables & deck chairs early, so not much free space if you're out and about early then back to the pool in the afternoon. Loved the Matahari Bungalows because of the location, spacious grounds, large rooms, although not so bright inside and the pool area is much larger and always deck chairs available with a good atmosphere around the pool bar. There are also many bars/restaurants in close proximity to Matahari with the Heaven bar out the front being a 24hr bar/restaurant, but you don't hear any noise from it out the back in the hotel. We much preferred the Matahari & will be going back there in Nov this year.
