1.is it freehold or lease hold?
2. how old is the Villa, how big is it,if new you'll be in trouble with cracks inthe first 6 months-10 months.
3.how much electricity is on house/ villa.
4. Is there an IMB plate this is building approval.
5. have a qualified expat with the cirtificates that works, builds here to check it out, and also that the electricals are safe and earthing provided at least.
6. is the price appropriate for location and size
7. don't rush into it there's plenty out there.
8. Ask thenotary to check for green zoning or residential.
9. good luck if all the above goes well.
