Multi Bintang, the company that produces Bintang, is owned by Heineken and made almost $A70 million profit last year. It is by no means an amateurish operation. These buggers know how to make beer (and how to make money) and their quality control is as good as you need to produce a consistent product. Their beer, like all beer, comes out with slightly different alcohol content each batch but nowhere near the range identified above. Regards, Luke
