The other major shareholder in APB is a company called F&N and, in turn, they have a major shareholder called Kirin, a Japanese beer giant and 100% owner of Lion Nathan (who make Tooheys, XXXX, Boags etc beers in Australia). The global beverage industry is incestuous and little old Bintang has proud parentage and impeccable bloodlines. But look my point, long-winded as it may be, is that the likes of Heineken and Kirin do not invest millions of their shareholders funds in crappy third world booze-ups that lack quality control.
