Can it? Is it that you are looking to meet girls? That may explain why you would ask what is, on the face of it, such an outdated question. Also maybe you are looking for paid female companionship and if that's what you mean it's OK to say so. The question has been asked before on here.
Also "like minded people" has me a little confused. Like minded about liking to avoid Gay Friendly Bars or only supporting Collingwood or being vegetarian or hating Kenny G (now that last one I can actually get in choosing a bar to drink at).
What about Gay, vegetarian, Collingwood supporting, Kenny G hating Gay Guys? Also how do you feel about drinking with non vegetarian Port Adelaide Lesbians who have industrial deafness and like Kenny G?
Now while many possibilities exist for choice of a bar I think it's girl chasing that drove your question or naivety or youth....
