when I was there in january my husband hated surfing legian when it was good because of plastic and rubbish that he had to paddle through!I love swimming the beach but had to dodge all sorts of things in the water and it was very unclean.They do great job cleaning the waters edge but dont go there early morning you will see the amount of rubbish washed up everyday will put you off.Had few of hubbys friends get ear infections and eye infections from surfing this time too!
