Here's another example for you, 2 years ago, 24 donated laptops, (from Europe )courteuosly accepted at another orphanage, one broken one remains at the establishment the rest were sold off. Where did the money go ? Not to the children I'll be bound !
We are happy with our orphanage donation system. We shop directly with the carer and every cent donated goes directly to the children in the way of food and clothing. Mind you the odd bag of lollies, ice cream and treats finds a way into the shopping bags.
I'm over there again this coming weekend, something new this time as I have a couple of wheelchairs for a couple of needy kids associated with Charliebali bear which again is going directly to the children.
We are not looking for any accolades, we don't want any. like so many others on this Forum we do it BECAUSE WE CAN.
The bottom line to this posting is, for goodness sake, before you donate anything to anyone. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
And Gator, I know you'll read this, sincere thanks for the lovely donated wheelchair, you're a man among men and a champion among champions. Good lad !
