OK understand your point skiggy. I love very spicy food. Ate at Ulu last November and was quite happy...from memory just had a Tom Yum soup which was fine.
I've seen customers in Adelaide sending back a meal and complaining bitterly about the heat, then when I've had similar at the same restaurant found it quite acceptable. Difficult for a restaurant to cater for all so I'd rather have the chilli sides so that I can set up as I want.
NB Ulu is a couple of hundred metres south of Hardy's store on opposite side of road.
