that's supposed to be one of the best Thai newcomers to Sanur.
We went there last year and it was a really nice little place with an aircon section as the main dining area at the rear and al fresco out front.
Entrees were nice and authentic but the curries, although tasty and presented nicely in a coconut, had zero heat which was disappointing for me.
In typical 'wannabe Bali Thai' fashion (so as not to upset diners who are not sure how hot is hot), chilli is put on a side dish and you 'add as required' to the desired level.
I find this practice smacks of unsurety in the kitchen and anything but authentic. If you're a good Thai cook, you should know mild, medium, hot and very hot.
But if you like your Thai food very mild and don't mind wasting time adding and tasting, then adding a bit more and re-tasting, then give it a go.
