My husband is coeliac and we have been to Bali several times since he has been diagnosed. He always takes his translation card saying what he can not eat. He has never been sick. The only trouble is finding something to drink. He has recently discovered Bali cider and Arak drinks. Most traditional meals don't have wheat in them but it is always good to ask. He always takes a couple of loaves of GF bread over there and keeps them in the fridge in motel room.
