If you check your search engines you will find price hikes within a 24 hour period. April 1 has always been the date for airlines to review prices (pre budget carriers) and for hotels worldwide to review their tariffs. If you do a search for hotels, in Bali for example, you will find price differences between the nights of March 31 and April 1.
I secured Adhi Dharma for $42/night (booked last August) for this coming April-I knew the booking site I used had not updated the price and knew it was a bargain price. Within 3 days of booking AD went up to $70(from memory) on the site I used. Bali is pricing itself out of the market especially when a hotel such as Camplung Mas (nice hotel-no comlaints)goes from 32/35 up to $70 from April.Or one to complain about is the Legian Village (ex Jonies ) goes from 22/night up to 60/70 as well. Bali hotels have always been brilliant bargains but people will review their holiday destinations when they are not getting the same value as before.
