Manhole covers are still there....the thieves are getting lazy!

When I first came to Kuta in 1975, there were no roads or manhole covers, only sandy tracks.

The VOA money is paid to the National Government, not the local banjar. The Banjar maintains the roads and drainage system.

I guess that I will be amongst the 10% that will come back to Bali. I am looking forward to having the whole of Kuta Beach to myself!
