firstly thanks to the people who didnt bag my first post which wasnt meant to tell anybody not to do anything - it was more of a heads up that this can happen and that also something that looks like a heart attack or stroke, might not be. Also the man in question and his wife are a doctor and a nurse and even they didnt know!
Anyway - if my post gets up anybodys nose, stiff bikkies! Nobody is forcing you to read it.
My friend HD is still in BIMC and has now developed pneumonia. They think its from the lying down for several days that might have brought it on. He is improving from the parasite complications but is now expected to be in BIMC for another week or so.
His wife has reported she is really really impressed with the BIMC and their staff and the conditions of the hospital. They had been to the hospital a week prior with a friend with a minor problem so luckily she had their card on them when her hubby collapsed and was able to ring the ambulance straight away.
She is also impressed with their hotel - (which I have been told is called Padma Villas but I cant find anything by that name on google)
they have put a car at her disposal and have attended to her every little need. When they get back I will find out the exact hotel as I think perhaps a bit of chinese whispers has gotten the name wrong.
