and i took them when my daughter was 14months and son 3yrs...they were still having afternoon sleeps. We stayed in small hotel so when kids were having arvo sleep, hubby and i laid by pool which was 5 steps from our door and so we could see hotel room door, also took baby intercom which made easier. Kids have never been sick (touch wood!) and we already have 3 trips booked for 2011....like others have said commonsense approach, in the first few trips i took up food as i was unsure, i packed tinned heinz foods and even took a new microwave! i used this in room to heat up baby milk for toddler as she still liked it warmish and i would heat baby food etc...i guess i was organised and i kept the kids in same routine as home and they were happy. they love bali, you just have to be careful with mossies, sun etc...we spray room everyday a couple of times and put a towel at bottom of door so no gaps for mossie to get in. Dont stress but just be organised and enjoy. Where do you plan on staying?
