Mara River - tips ?

Soooo looking forward to 3 days at Mara River! Is there anything else in the vicinity anyone could recommend as a must see / must do? (Seen Goa Gajah and Goa Lawah.) For example, I don't want to eat in the Lion restaurant every meal...is it possible to get a taxi to a nice local warung? And is bottled water provided with room or should I take a supply? Anyone done the night safari?
