Yes chilli, just ask and they have a little heat in em aswell (wink wink). Kinda reminded me more like a local soup, rather than a soup put on for Westeners. One tricky thing is that you see the cart, but you have to pay in the little shop inside, then take your ticket to get the soup.
Show was ok, more fun for children, if not for the humour, would have been a bit boring for me. Made a point of getting there a weenie bit earlier to secure a good seat (in the shade) not that many seats there and a how swag of people had to stand. Not that interested in seeing it again, would take kiddies - they would love it.
Whatever you do please make sure you dont miss the elephant show I thought it was fabulous ! In Oct'10 no problem with seating there are millions of seats and all in the shade. I loved this show, may have gotten a few goosebumbs a few times, and I'd watch it again tomorrow!
I dunno if it was a "safari" mighta been, probably was, we got herded into this truck thing and drove around looking at all the animals, went for about hmmm maybe 30 - 40 mins. Lucky we got there early, as we were the first ones on and no waiting in a long queue. The lines got worse as the day went on.
I loved spending time there, they have done a truely wonderful job. Not as good as Disneyland or Movie world, but really really good for Bali.
Hope I didnt get you tooooooo excited <]:0)
