Many thanks to all for your kind words and support, we actually had to stay in Perth for medical treatment for 3 weeks due to hubby having a blood clot on the brain in Perth (after the internal bleeding was controlled and this caused a stroke) before we were returned to christchurch where hubby was in hospital for 1 more week. special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Sir Charles Gardner Hospital,What a brilliant facility, Also Osborne Park Rehab Hospital where they made sure that hubby was rehabilitated and stable before we flew home. All the time I was taken such good care of by Travel Sure who quite frankly could not do enough to ensure that I was okay, even moving me to a hotel that was closer to the rehab unit. To the people of Perth, what a beautiful city you live in matched by the beautiful people we met there. finally after nearly 6 weeks of uncertainty Hubby is now home and doing really well, As to what caused this medical problem apparently this can sometimes happen when you are on warfarin especially if you change your diet, I would suggest to anyone on this medication do not get complacent, If you are not feeling well or having nose bleeds or other similar symptoms, get them checked (even on holiday go to a doctor)
What have we learnt ?
We have learnt that Travel Insurance is a MUST, That There are many many really caring people in the world and next time I go to Bali to finish this holiday." Hubby is going to Auckland" (LOL)
