Few years back I walked the length of Sanur with my daughter. We stopped at most of the money changers that had rather good rates. I wanted to show her all the trick of the trade. Dropping money in drawers, small notes, taking money back and not giving back the right amount, counting out wrong notes hoping we didn't recognise them or were new to Bali. Once had a calculator with the key changed. Hubby works with money and was on it straight away. It was a great lesson. If the rate sounds too good. It is!!! Lucky you got your money back.
