I first found out about my DIL (daughter in law)being in an accident when no.1.son rang very distressed to tell me what happened and that he couldnt contact the insurance company on his phone. He gave me all the policy details and I phoned them and explained what had happened and they assured me they would ring the Boss back and take over. I was very upset too and went to tell hubby about it, but all I got out was DIL got hit by car and burst into tears, hubby naturally thought the worst and wasnt till I calmed down he found out was injured and had a doctor in attendence. For the rest of the day there were phone calls and texts flying back and forth to Bali and to my daughter as well.
Were all very relieved to hear the xray results showed no breaks and would heal with time.
The thing that amazed me was the Boss not loosing his cool (I have seen this happen over the years a few times) and attacking the driver of the car, and even had some civil conversations with him over the next few days.
