stricter from Perth, but just completed 6 flight legs with AirAsia X/AirAsia...GC-KL-Penang-KL-DPS-KL-GC, and carry on bags weren't weighed/checked/looked at once...some of the bags being carried on on inter Asia legs were HUGE...we kept to the limit( bit over on the homeward legs though) just in case we got questioned.............
