Yes this time last year my wife was in a Coma in Hospital and some readers would have a different opinion if it involved someone in your family. HOW DO YOU GET IT????
Yes it has not stopped us going back, in fact twice.
Who actually diagnosed it. An indonesian doctor working in Sir Charles Gardner hospital Perth. He ordered the test to prove it.
Yes my wife is not 100% now. Needs care. Do I blame the Balanese. NO
Have We ever had Bali Belly YES... Scratches and other things YES...
We are always careful where we go, what we do etc but still have a good time.
My point is that Legionares disease CAN AND WILL KILL. It usually leaves one with a degree of Imparement. I know.
Ever know anyone die or impared of Bali Belly, Die or impared of dengue Fever, ETC ETC. Legionares is NO JOKE. I am now a full time carer and for one reason or another I could be put in the same situation in AUST. Life Goes on but be careful. My wifes case was not pulicised there was two others in hospital at the same time.
