if it really is a water problem it may turn into more nights, or you could end up with water problems while during your stay.
As a travel agent,it is not unusual for travel agents not to know this sort of thing,(that would mean the hotel would have to notify every tour company/brochure who sells their hotel, who would then have to notify every T/Agent who sells their product.
If you think its over booking, get someone to send an email (or use another email account and name)requesting a few nights around that date, see what they say!
