on different points.
I knocked over a glass on the table and it broke, and yes I was charged for it. 25000rp! The glasses are so thin that it easily broke being knocked over. I do understand that the owners pay for these things but usually some breakages are acceptable so we found this to be a bit ridiculous.
Each time we asked the staff something we were directed to ask "Mr Andrew" at the end of the bar. We agree that the staff do not appear happy. We had a disagreement with the female manager (or is she Andrew's wife? This is what she implied to us) over some mini bar drinks that we were charged for even though we had not drunk them. Long story but she told us "It is her staff and she treats how she thinks is right. We would not have have any idea what it is like to run a big hotel!"
Like she would know! HUMPF! Hubby dragged me away before I got stuck into her!
Didn't try to get transport in or out of there as it was quicker to walk to either the beachfront or Legian st and get transport. We used thier driver to go to the airport and he was great!
One sticking point for us was breakfast does not start till 8am so if you have anything planned for the day you will probably have to skip breakfast.
Anyhow, yes we would stay there again as the apartment we had 2bed/2bath was good (apart from the ant problem).
