One advantage of booking AA flights separately,is that the flight to Australia from Bali is cheaper, as Indonesian airport taxes are cheaper that Australian airport taxes.
Tickets out of Australia include the departure taxes in the price of the ticket. In Indonesia, eveyone has to pay the Rp 150,000 departure tax separately.
