We stayed there last year and had booked and negotiated price via email with no trouble. When I tried to book for this year, I couldn't get a reply out of them no matter how many emails I sent.
The hotel is fine and there is a mix of nationalities there, including plenty of Aussies too. The breakfast isn't worth bothering with and the restaurant and reception staff are miserable and rather unhelpful.
We went in there this year to check out the big villa type building in the middle of the property to see if it was worth booking for next year. The guy at reception refused to acknowledge that it even existed. He was leaning on the counter with his head on his hand and did not raise his head for the entire conversation, and just kept pointing to the printed list of room prices and grunting at us.
I don't think they're all that keen for new customers from the way we've been ignored with all inquiries!
