we used to only use Bluebird taxi's but then decided it wasn't really fair so started using any and every taxi as long as they had a working meter.
haven't had any problems in Bali, catch taxi's everywhere, always give more than is on the meter, always treated well, have caught from the front of Galleria on at least 4 occasions per trip.
guess its the luck of the draw, and maybe we have just been lucky.
it was pointed out to me that to only use a company that is owned by a company in Jakarta might not be fair to Balinese as they work for other companies as well.
