as took friends out on a tour of East Bali and decided to include this village. We quite enjoyed it and the sit and chat with locals under the banyan tree. We made a donation from the group on entrance and a guide accompanied us... as we left we were not asked for more money for the guide as is often the way and he seemed genuinely surprised to receive it. And although we went to see some weaving etc there was no hard sell. I would recommend it as a stop to people visiting the area.
