The, what they call standard rooms now, are the ones down the back on the first floor. My first time at Suriwathi in these rooms was in April, 2003 (AU$9/night-no aircon then). They are now upgraded and I stayed standard for a few nights last Sept, 2009.Large room, large bathroom. TV, from memory, on benchtop.narrow balcony, continental breckie.Aircon was fine but that was in the room I had. Depending what your paying may not be worth it.I have stayed Suriwathi many times, was always my first choice, but not now.With their pricing now you can do much better elsewhere.Negotiate directly with them for standard, not thru internet.
